Toshali Jungle Lodge

Simlipal was designated a Tiger Reserve in 1973 and covers approximately 2750 sq kms of lush tropical forest of the Chhotanagpur Plateau in Orissa's Mayurbhanj district.

The Simlipal Biosphere Reserve is home to tigers and leopards amongst other wild animals, and also supports the crocodile breeding farm in Ramtirtha, Jashipur. With an amazing 1076 species of flora within the reserve, including 92 orchid varieties, Simplipal is an ideal weekend getaway for the nature lover.

Baripada at 50 km is the nearest railhead from Jashipur, one of the two entry points to the Reserve Forest. Driving distance from Bhubaneswar is 250 kms, from Kolkata 300 kms, Balasore 160 kms, and Jamshedpur 115 kms.

Kolkata and Bhubaneswar provide air connectivity.

Tiger Reserve Forest Lodge - Located at a walk in distance from the Simplipal Tiger Reserve, the Forest Lodge is equiped with all the major services and facilties. Simlipal Tiger Reserve in Orissa is famous for Royal Bengal Tiger. Simlipal is also home to Leopard, Gaur, Elephant, Langur, Barking and Spotted Deer, Sloth Bear Mongoose, Flying Squirrel, Porcupine, Turtle, Monitor Lizard, Python, Sambar, Pangolin and Crocodile.

Day 01: Arrive at Simlipal. You will be received at Jashipur / Ramtirtha Bus stand and taken to Ramtirtha Forest Lodge.

Lunch at Forest Resort.
Guided nature walk and nature study at Herbal Nursery Visit to Crocodile Breeding Farm.
Evening tea with light snacks Dinner and overnight stay at Lodge.

Day 02: Early breakfast.
Start for Jungle Safari by jeep to visit Barehapani, Cahala.
Halt at Gurguria for lunch .You may stay on at Forest Rest Lodge Gurguria for the night or return to Ramtirtha.
Dinner and night stay at Forest Lodge (Ramtirtha /Gurguria).

Day 03: Check out after breakfast.
Free transport facility back to Jashipur.
